Voice Dialogue has had a profound impact on my understanding of myself, my family and my clients. In fact both of my sons (47 and 27 years old, respectively) apply Voice Dialogue to their lives and have benefited from sessions with wonderful facilitators in our community. I credit my successful marriage of 32 years in large measure to the understanding of myself and my husband derived from immersion in Voice Dialogue.

I am a daughter of Holocaust survivors. In my early days of studying with Hal and Sidra I discovered my Holocaust child who lived life always expecting the worst. Learning about her, loving her, taking care of her and separating out from her and experiencing the Aware Ego Process has been a deeply transformitive experience, as has generally been the case in working with my inner family of selves,

In addition to my private psychotherapy practice, I am also an environmental health advocate. I credit Hal and Sidra and their impact on my life and work with the successful passage of the 1998 Maryland Integrated Pest Management in Schools law, which I believe could not have passed had I not had this tool in collaborating with industry and legislative opponents to this ground-breaking law that became a model for other states.

Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of Selves has had a profound impact on my work as founder and executive director of the Maryland Pesticide Network. Who would have thought this process could be translated to working with political systems!

Professional Background
With over 42 years of experience as a psychotherapist and as a teacher of Transpersonal Psychology and psychotherapy, I specialize in individual, couple and family therapy in my private practice in Annapolis, Maryland.

I have specialized in Voice Dialogue since 1984, because I find it to be the most effective, clear and profound tool for real and long-standing growth and change. I am a both a practitioner and teacher of Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of Selves and have been a student and teacher of meditation since 1977.

I integrate traditional, spiritual and energetic therapeutic approaches in my work with clients.

In addition, I apply Voice Dialogue to my work in environmental health as founder and Executive Director of the Maryland Pesticide Network, a coalition of 25 organizations, founded in 1994 in Maryland dedicated to reducing the use and negative impact of pesticides on public health and the environment.

I am also a contributing author to The Voice Dialogue Anthology: Explorations of the Psychology of Selves and the Aware Ego Process Edited by Dassie Hoffman, PhD ; published in 2012. My chapter is on 'Advocacy and the Psychology of the Aware Ego'.

I am also co- founder of InnerSource, a Center for Psychotherapy and Healing in Annapolis, founded in 1993, and was an Associate Professor at the University of California Medical School in San Francisco and Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Family Group Institute, San Francisco. Additionally, I have led numerous workshops in the field of Psycho-Spiritual/Transpersonal Psychology nationally and internationally, and continue to provide Voice Dialogue workshops for mental health and health professionals with Dr. Abby Rosen.
