As a psychotherapist, I have a passionate interest in providing a space for people in which exploration and change is possible. When I first came upon Hal and Sidra Stone's Psychology of Selves, it made immediate sense to me and 20 years later it still provides a framework and method for broad and deep exploring - for me and for my psychotherapy and counselling clients. It is an empowering way to work, and clients love how non-judgmental and respectful it is, while finding it f lexible, empowering, deeply spiritual at times, and leading to new possibilities. I enjoy working with couples in this way as well as individuals, and blending Voice Dialogue with approaches such as art therapy. As well as therapeutic work, I also enjoy offering group workshops and trainings.

| I have been a Counselling Psychologist since the early 1970's, and have worked in a great diversity of settings, including community mental health, family therapy clinic, Family Court Counselling, tertiary student counselling, and for the last 2 decades in private practice seeing couples and individuals. My training in Voice Dialogue began in 1992 when I was, with others, instrumental in bringing Drs Hal & Sidra Stone to Australia to give training workshops. I visited the U.S.A. several times to continue Voice Dialogue training, and with colleagues ran programs and Voice Dialogue workshops and trainings in Victoria, Australia. I draw on other approaches and modalities in my psychotherapeutic work, including psychodynamic, family therapy, trauma work modalities such as EMDR, and also art therapy, in which I recently was awarded a Master of Arts. |
